History- The Prospectors Dart Team was formed in late 1985 by Steve Brigham. Made up of novice players who all worked at the same company in Marlborough, we joined the Central Division of the Minuteman Dart League for the Spring season of 1986. The Minuteman Dart League is the largest steel tip dart league in the world! Our first match was played at The North Pond House in Hopkinton against the Midnighters on the day of the first space shuttle disaster. For 22 years we have been sponsored by and play out of The Prospector Saloon, 520 Lincoln St. Marlborough, MA. Over the years the team has won five division championships and one Central Mass Area Championship. Three of the original nine members are still on the current roster, they include John "Bubba" Lewis, Greg "Otis" Parker and Mike O'Rourke. The rest of the current roster consists of Ron Causey, Bob Lewis, Mike Aurelio and Jen Tanner. |

SRB Spectors Team News
We began our 46th season in the Minuteman Dart League on 9/2/08 |
He got us interested in the game of darts. He formed the
Prospectors Dart Team in 1986 and got us into the Minuteman Dart League.
He was our captain and our leader. He was my friend for 23 years.
Steve Brigham died today, 5/14/07, after a two year fight with cancer.
Rest in peace, my friend, you will not be forgotten. Every time I
pick up a dart, for the rest of my life, I will think of you. |
